When I bought the battery grip for the Canon 550D on the Chinese aftermaket it came with 4 equivalent LP-E8 batteries. Excellent! I thought. In fact it's good to have additional power for a fraction of the price of the real one's. But although the aftermarket ones indicate that has additional capacity, in fact they last less. But the worst is that they do not communicate with the camera, how charged they are. On one minute the camera indicates that have full capacity and on the next minute you can't take a photo.
